We started with 3/4 cup butter (melted).

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 whole egg
1 egg yolk
Julia is pretty good at cracking the eggs by herself. As you can tell by her expression, it's serious business.

2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Before we could stir in the chocolate chips, Julia had to snitch "just one more." I honestly don't know how many chocolate chips she ate, but there were still plenty in the cookies.
Is it just the photos, or is her hair turning blonde?
ReplyDeleteOooooh, I'm excited. Now I have the recipe for your oh so good chocolate chip cookies and can make them. I wanted to make them over the holidays, but wasn't sure how to get ahold of you since you don't usually have your cell phone on and didn't have much internet access. Now I have the recipe. Now I can make cookies. Evil, Evil cookies. Muahahhaha.
Me want cookies!
ReplyDeleteIt's from a chocolate cookbook. The original recipe also calls for 2 tablespoons instant coffee and some chopped walnuts, but we usually don't put those ingredients in there. Enjoy!
