Who Knew?

Who knew that converting Julia's crib into a day bed would actually increase the number of naps she takes each week? Today was the seventh day in a row she took a nap in her new big-girl bed.

The only hiccup we hit was Saturday afternoon, when we had to go Super Nanny on her. That's code-speak for a technique where we gave her one verbal reminder that it's nap time, and from that point forward, we only put her in her bed (no talking to her). We lost count how many times she came out of her room Saturday afternoon, it was probably 25-30, before she finally settled in for her nap.

And hopefully I'm not jinxing her streak of naps by writing this...
