When we came down for the Cherry Blossom Festival on Tuesday, the girls picked up Junior Ranger activity books. We didn't have time to complete the books that day. However, the girls worked on them at home, completing enough activities to earn a badge. Evelyn had also requested having a picnic lunch in Washington, D. C. before we move to Boston. Add that to beautiful, sunny weather on a Saturday, and we girls headed back to the Cherry Blossom Festival this afternoon.
My sweet Peanut......and my spunky little Sunshine.
Both girls wanted to pose together, too.
If you look closely in the picture below, you can see the girls' Junior Ranger badges. They were so proud of themselves for earning those badges!
We all thought it was interesting how much the color in the cherry blossoms had changed in four days. On Tuesday they were mostly white, and today they were very pink.

Wow. The colors really do change. Now the cherry blossoms is one thing that I do miss--despite the crowds.
