We all know that Evelyn is taking ballet this year - she danced her tail off, trying to get into the academic level classes (which she did). And it should come as no surprise that Julia wants to follow in her sister's footsteps and continue studying ballet as well.
Today was the first day of class for both girls. Julia's Pre-Ballet class requires a pink leotard with an attached skirt. So cute for my little five-year-old!Julia wanted to be a big girl and put her ballet shoes on by herself...but tucking the whiskers (or laces, depending on who you talk to) proved to be a little tricky, so I helped her with that.
Julia's class is from 4:15 to 5:00, and then we girls get an hour to grab supper somewhere before heading back to the Franklin School for Performing Arts for Evelyn's class, which runs from 6:00 until 7:30.
Evelyn has been particularly focusing on holding her posture correctly, which she is demonstrating in this picture...
Here's my little Peanut, all ready to enter her 7th year of dance!
