Summer Homework

Back in Maryland, Evelyn had a crazy amount of summer homework, starting the summer before Kindergarten.  The packet of reading, writing and math homework was quite substantial.  We girls were all pleasantly surprised with the summer homework load in our new town.  Julia didn't have to do anything - however, she wanted to complete some entering-Kindergarten workbooks (and I obliged, of course).
Evelyn had to read six chapter books, write four letters to two different pen pals and complete 40 math activities.  Playing dominoes counts as an activity.  :)
Here's Evelyn, the weekend before school starts, finishing up the last of her math assignments.
We girls had an ongoing Monopoly game that ended today.  I owned both Park Place and Boardwalk, so it was only a matter of time before I built hotels on them and wiped out my competition.
