Rainbow Cake

A couple of days ago, I came across a recipe for Rainbow Cake. The girls really liked this idea for a birthday cake, so I thought I would give it a try. Oh, the girls also insisted that I put 36 candles on my cake, so here we go-Julia couldn't wait to sing the "Birthday Song" and have me blow out the candles...

...and this is why Julia was so impatient. She wanted to see the inside of the cake! Julia helped me make, bake and frost the rainbow cake this afternoon, and she was very proud of her creation.
